Condenser coil cleaning
Washing the condenser coil is a critical maintenance task because a dirty coil acts as an insulator, preventing the unit from releasing heat effectively. When dirt, dust, and outdoor debris (like grass clippings or pollen) coat the coils, your system must work harder and run longer to cool your home, leading to significantly higher energy costs and premature equipment failure.
Cleaning the Drain line
The primary job of the drain line is to funnel away the condensation created during the cooling process. If the line clogs (usually from algae buildup), water backs up and overflows the internal drain pan. This can ruin your drywall, flooring, and ceilings. To ensure proper condensate removal, we extensively clean the drain line and coil drain pan and add algae tablets to the coil pan to prevent algae growth.
